The Accerta Health Access Foundation (the Accerta Foundation) improves the lives of those in need and actively gives back to the communities where we work and live. The Accerta Foundation amplifies the work that charitable organizations across Canada do to promote better health, independence, and productivity among people.
Through grants, we augment the work of registered charities that improve access to healthcare and help people in need live better lives.
The 2025 Accerta Health Access Foundation grant is now open for applications. The application will be open from November 17, 2025, to February 13, 2026.
The Accerta Health Access Foundation provides a total annual grant of $150,000, which may be awarded to one or multiple applicants at the committee’s discretion. Successful applicants will be notified within 98 days after the application deadline. Past grant recipients are welcome to apply; however, applications must propose a new and distinct project. Funding will not be provided for projects previously supported by the foundation.

Welcome Inn Community Centre of Hamilton
The Seniors Congregate Dining and Visitation Programs aim to reduce poverty and social isolation among seniors by expanding dining and visitation services, thereby fostering wellness and supportive relationships.
The Dental Clinic Enhancement project offers free preventive and restorative dental care to homeless and at-risk populations. Funding is being used to replace aging dental equipment, ensuring the maintenance of quality care.
The Expanding Dental Care Access for Vulnerable Youth project enhances the clinic’s capacity by hiring a part-time dental assistant, thereby reducing barriers to oral health for vulnerable youth.
National Abortion Federation of Canada
The Gender Equity and Bodily Autonomy through Healthcare project offers wrap-around reproductive healthcare, including system navigation, counseling, safety planning, and financial travel support.
Girls Incorporated of York Region
The Empowerment Programs for Girls deliver programs focused on mental health, leadership, and resilience for girls in urban and rural communities.
